Now we have notified the appropriate workshop, conclusion – appointment in December – so 6 weeks of standstill in Berlin, in which we could not fall back on our Jeep.

After these 6 weeks, we have now rented a tow truck to bring the 150km long way to the workshop behind us and then hopefully come back with a repaired car after the repair. We were then told on the spot that there was no time and that we should take the vehicle back with us. No apology, no leniency, no help…. But a new appointment, this time in January, so again 4 weeks that pass.

In January again rented the tow truck and on to the workshop for this appointment, which was also carried out, we got a loaner car and it was agreed that we would be informed of all costs. It was also promised that they would get back to us as soon as they had a diagnosis. To our surprise, they didn’t even call us and when they did, they told us that the vehicle was ready and that they had a bill of almost 1,000€.

Well, we wanted our Jeep back after now almost 3 months of standing, so we went and picked it up. Happy to be back in the driver’s seat, we drove with the usual 80km/h back to Berlin. But the joy did not last long, hardly we had driven 100km, the engine control lamp went on again and I could just drag myself to the next rest area. – The same problem; engine is in the emergency run.

Again the ADAC, this dragged us now in you workshop of the Jeep König in Berlin.

And what can I say, here everything was looked at directly and a complete diagnosis was made. It came out that the parts, which were described by the previous workshop as „damage-free“, were now defective, and not only since now. We then ordered everything from the new workshop and had it installed, and an all-round check was also carried out.

So our Jeep can now safely and reliable accompany us from A to B again for the next adventures.
